Learning, Memory, Test Taking

Hypnosis is well-known for its efficacy with study skills, test anxiety, learning and memory, and test taking. Over the past twenty plus years Eastburn therapists have helped thousands of people to conquer testing-related issues.

One issue that impacts people’s study skills is procrastination. Hypnosis can eliminate procrastination and help you instantly to set the study habits you want.

Test anxiety is released in the office, replaced by a relaxed, calm, successful test taking attitude.

Oftentimes we have trouble learning not because we are not intelligent but because something is hindering us. This may be an issue like ADD or a learning disorder, or it may be because the subconscious mind has developed a poor response to the learning process.

Memory may be affected for many reasons, but often the problem is a negative reinforcement pattern running within the subconscious. Hypnosis can be used to create new neural pathways that, in a sense, establish positive rewiring in the brain.

Stress is usually a culprit with any of the above-mentioned issues as well. There are numerous hypnotic methods to effectively address any or all of these issues.

Hypnosis is a powerful multifaceted approach that enables you to not only retain information better, but to be able to access it effectively when you need it. Hypnosis helps to overcome test anxiety, sharpen learning, study, and memory skills, overcome obstacles, and facilitates confident test taking.

Test Taking - Your Best Success

Limitations and Fees

Tests can cost hundreds of dollars and are often limited by the number of times they may be taken in a given timeframe. Failing a test can cause a delay in your plans—getting into school or starting your career. Law schools, for example, may compare your original test score to your scores on subsequent tests. Pass your test with your best possible score the first time and you won’t need to worry about comparisons, excessive costs or limited timeframes.

The more pressure to perform, the worse your results may be. We often see people who have only one chance left to pass their exam. They’ve spent hundreds of dollars and countless hours studying and repeatedly testing but to no avail.

Attention High School Students! Increase Scores on SAT and ACT Exams

These tests are supposed to reflect what the student has learned throughout high school, but a little fear, pressure, or test anxiety can have a very negative impact. The results of these tests can seriously affect the rest of your life. Ensure your best chance at getting into the college of your choice by scoring as high as you can on the SATs or ACTs.

Grad School, Business School, and Beyond & Professional Exams—Hypnosis is the Key to Your Success!

Save time and money. Achieve your personal best. Hypnosis is effective for the following tests:

The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is the standardized test required for admission to most graduate schools in the United States. It is designed to measure verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking skills acquired over a long period of time and not related to any specific field of study. The level of emphasis placed on GRE scores varies greatly between schools as well as between departments within schools. Hypnosis helps with information retention and immediate access, releases any test anxiety, etc.

The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a half-day, standardized test administered four times each year at designated testing centers throughout the world. The test is an integral part of the law school admission process in the United States, Canada, and a growing number of other countries. It provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of several factors in assessing applicants. Hypnosis helps with information retention and immediate access, releases any test anxiety, etc.

Bar Admission: To obtain a license to practice law, most law school graduates must apply for bar admission through a state board of bar examiners. This board is usually an agency of the highest state court in the jurisdiction, but occasionally the board is connected more closely to the state's bar association. The criteria for eligibility to take the bar examination or to otherwise qualify for bar admission are set by each state, not by the ABA or the Council for the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. Licensing requires the applicant to hold an acceptable credential (typically a JD degree) from a recognized law school that meets educational standards and by achieving a passing score on the bar examination. Various tests comprise the two-day bar exam including the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), the Multistate Essay Examination (MEE), and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT). An acceptable score may also be required on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE). Hypnosis helps with confidence, information retention and access, stress reduction, and much more.
